Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is set in fabulous gardens outside the center with a lovely view of the grounds and beyond. The rooms have a charming heating system that unfortunately made the wardrobe creak frequently, but they do come with a huge fireplace perfect for a cozy evening tea.
I loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms have stunning views of the lovely grounds and beyond, featuring charming original features. However, they were a bit too dark for reading, although they did have facilities for a disabled person. The service was top-notch; the staff really tried hard to provide excellent service, but unfortunately, they couldn't find my reservation even with the reservation code. The location was perfect, set in fabulous gardens, although it was outside the city center. The dining experience was good overall, but the hot food was sometimes served lukewarm. The facilities were great, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
The hotel is situated in a beautiful nature setting, boasting fabulous gardens and housed in the original Manor House. While the almost empty restaurant felt serene, the restrictive seating arrangements at odd hours were off-putting. The stay was a mix of scenic tranquility and dining challenges.
